Batman ’66 Universe timeline

Below, you’ll find what, in my estimation, could be considered the Batman ‘66 universe timeline, containing the events from the Batman TV show, the Avengers TV show, The Man from UNCLE, The Girl from UNCLE, Wonder Woman TV show, the Adventures of Superman, the Six Million Dollar Man, The Bionic Woman, the Green Hornet, the Addams Family TV show, the Monkees, Charlie’s Angels, The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, the Felony Squad, Judd for the Defense, the Batman ‘66 comics, Wonder Woman ‘77 comics, Steed and Mrs. Peel comics, also comics relating to the other aforementioned shows. Conjecture: the older Slate in this adventure should not be confused with the much younger Mark Slate who later becomes April Dancer's partner. This Slate is obviously the younger's American uncle.)

Conjecture: Illya and Napoleon are injured in this affair and they are given a month's vacation and light duties. This is the vacation referred to in The Vampire Affair. The light duties consist of another trip to Spain investigating the misplaced H-Bomb. Apparently, it was finally located.

Avengers episodes: “Quick-Quick-Slow-Death”, “The Danger Makers”, “A Touch of Brimstone”, “What the Butler Saw”

Avengers comic strips

March- Batman and Robin face the United Underworld (Joker, Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman) (Batman the movie) (Placed chronologically before the 1st Catwoman episode due to Commissioner Gordon’s comment about Catwoman being alive in “Hot off the Griddle” after she fell in a pit in “Better Luck Next Time” and Robin seeing her without her mask in her first appearance. Julie Newmar is still Catwoman’s true form though, even though Lee Meriwether would chronologically be first. Also, must be after episodes 21 & 22 due to the protype batcycle in those episodes) Bookworm (“The Bookworm Turns/While Gotham City Burns”), Riddler (“Death in Slow Motion/The Riddler’s False Notion”), Penguin “Fine Finny Fiends/Batman Makes the Scenes”) The funding for the Gotham public library is cut, and the publication by Dr. Grimes goes out of print. The librarian mentions this to Barbara in “How to Hatch a Dinosaur.” It would be around this time, because the library Batman and Robin go to in “Death in Slow Motion is “closed due to lack of funds”

The Warden must not have thought that was that big a deal. Batman must’ve thought Barbara was seeing things when she said she saw Joker and Catwoman in the car, because he sincerely believes Joker’s gone straight.

February-

Steed and Mrs. Peel comic: We’re needed

The Avengers GK comic: “The Roman Invasion”, “The Mirage Maker”

(Batman 66 meets Steed and Mrs. Peel)  Batman and Robin stop Zelda the Great (“Zelda’s Great Escape”), Shame (“Showdown with Shame”), Bruce gets bitten by a snake after a date with Lisa Carson and Batgirl has to save him, by apprehending Lisa believing herself to be Cleopatra (“Cleopatra’s Reign”).  Joker and Catwoman escape prison, Holly Quinn goes insane and Arkham is now run by Dr. Hugo. (“The Joker’s Big Show”)

Avengers episode: “The Forget-me-Knot” (this is set after the Batman crossover because Emma still believed her husband to be dead)  “Deadly Rainbow” ( Avengers comic)

N#19 The Power Cube Affair (Napoleon and Illya are in England, where they meet "Charles," the head of a British Intelligence Service, perhaps the same Charles who controlled the Avengers (John Steed, Cathy Gale, and later Emma Peel).)

March- Batman and Robin join forces with the Green Hornet and Kato to stop Joker and General Gumm (Batman 66 meets Green Hornet crossover): Is set at the beginning of Spring. Batman mentions stopping the Riddler at the World’s Fair “last year” (“Smack in the Middle”), but this is probably some sort of exaggeration/guess or they forgot the year since many of their cases probably blend together in their heads. As for Robin still being in Driver’s Ed after having got his license in season 3, we’ll say he crashed the Batmobile one too many times. ;) Production begins on the bat-robot.

Avengers episode: “Game”

K#17 The Deadly Visions Affair

September- Egghead becomes a supergenius with an intellect from the 40th Century and stops the plots of Mr. Freeze and the Riddler (“Eggolution: Egghead Unbound”) Batman and Robin chase False Face who apparently turns into Clayface (“The Quagmire of Clayface”)- [set here based on comments from Batman about the new bat-trophy room, which is first seen in the Lost Episode comic] Catwoman robs the Gotham City annual science fair hosted by Professor Overbeck when aliens from the planet Oobysku invade. (placed here because of the Gotham City annual science fair also being held at the beginning of Archie meets Batman ’66, which is stated to be in 1966, but we’ll consider that a misprint, since Poison Ivy and Batgirl appear in that story and they don’t come in to play until at least a year or 2 later)

After 2 recently failed plots in the same month, Mr. Freeze decides to legally change his civilian last name from “Shivel” to “Fries” (conjecture based on the fact that Batman refers to him as “Shivel” in “Instant Fries” and “Emperor Penguin” but he refers to himself as Victor Fries in the Man from UNCLE crossover)

October:  Batman and Robin fight Scarecrow (“Scarecrow comes to town”), Ma Parker breaks her children, Killer Moth, Killer Croc, and Solomon Grundy out of prison. Catwoman also escapes (“Parker breaks out”), Catwoman helps Batman rescue Batgirl and Robin and defeat Killer Moth, Killer Croc, and Solomon Grundy (“Catwoman comes about”), Batman and Robin fight Two-Face (“The Lost Episode”) The Dynamic Duo surprise kids on Halloween (“The Short Halloween”)

Mi 1-2 The Birds of Prey Affair (A smaller, more streamlined incarnation of THRUSH begins to organize under Drs. Egret and Dabree, and a new Ultimate Computer is activated.)

November-

Batman and Robin capture Penguin and then get help from Batgirl and UNCLE agents Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuriyakin to combat the forces of THRUSH consisting of Egghead, Scarecrow, Siren, Sandman, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, and Olga Queen of the Cossacks under the command of Hugo Strange (Batman/Man from UNCLE crossover) Must happen in 1968 at the latest due to the 15 years later affair.
